Vindima de Uva Tinta

Setembro de 2015. Numa pequena vinha na encosta do rio Douro, junto à barragem do Carrapatelo, madruga-se para apanhar as uvas tintas antes de o sol as aquecer. A vindima na Casa do Terço é feita com ajuda de amigos e familiares, sempre com vista para o rio. No lagar pequeno, pisam-se as uvas por turnos, que seguem depois para as cubas onde ficarão a fermentar.

September 2015. In a small vineyard on the slopes of the Douro valley, near the Carrapatelo dam, you have to get up before dawn to catch the red grapes before the sun warms them. The harvest at Casa do Terço is done with the help of friends and family, always overlooking the river. In the small winepress, the grapes are stomped in turns and then go to the tanks where they will ferment.
